Open the extension's Settings page (right-click the BookGlints icon → Options, or use the Settings link in the popup). Add one flag per line — anything from a specific trope to a general vibe you want to avoid.
Make sure you're on a Goodreads book page or a StoryGraph book/reviews page. If it still doesn't work, try refreshing the page before opening the extension, or use the title search inside the popup instead.
See our Refund Policy for full details — the short version is a full refund within 3 days of purchase if you've used fewer than 10 scans.
Locally in your browser via Chrome's storage API — they're never sent to our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
This is Chrome's standard wording for any extension that can read content on specific websites — it applies to the permission itself, not to what BookGlints actually does with it. In reality, BookGlints only activates on Goodreads and StoryGraph book pages, and only reads and sends review text to our servers when you click "Scan." It never tracks which sites you visit, never runs on any other website, and never sees anything outside those two book review platforms. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
